Transport Labels
The transport labels used for shipments of production material is described in the Scania Standard 4172-10, which is a separate chapter in the Scania Logistics Manual. Scania Standard 4172-10 version 6 includes the introduction of a Global Transport Label according to the Odette Standard. This type of label is introduced as a part of the Scania Industry Standards Transformation journey and will be rolled out within the project’s releases.
The Odette Transport Label (OTL) and VDA4902 used for Blue Boxes (KLT) remains unchanged for shipments outside of the Scania Industry Standards Transformation scope.
The packaging sections including affixation of labels on packaging has in version 6 of Scania Standard 4172-10, been moved to Scania Standard 4172-4.
