How to become a supplier to Scania

Step 1 – Register on VW Supplier Portal

Scania is making use of Volkswagens Business Platform for Suppliers – ONE KBP for sending out RFQ’s, so in order to recieve an RFQ from Scania you need to have an account on that portal.

The registration process involves you sharing information as well as signing an agreement for the use of the platform, and the process usually takes 1-2 weeks.

Step 2 – Evaluation of your registration and approval for being added to the bidderslist

After your registration, your details submitted are evaluated and if approved your company could be added to the appropriate bidderslists.

It is important that you add correct information about your company, so you are added to the correct material groups. Otherwise, you risk to miss out on business opportunities.

After you have been successfully registered on the Volkswagen portal, you are now in a position to receive Request for Quotation (RFQ’s) from Scania.
