GENERAL

Question: Do we get a new supplier ID?


Answer: Yes, as part of the upgrade to New Industry Standards, we are introducing a new 7-digit supplier ID for all suppliers in scope for the release. You can find your new ID in the ‘Business Setup’ section in the CMA-campaign. Upon go-live, you will receive call-offs from the new Hasselt sites containing your new 7-digit SAP ID and from legacy PRUs with your old 4-digit ID. Eventually, when we have onboarded all Scania PRUs to New Industry Standards, the new 7-digit SAP ID will be fully implemented for supplies to Scania.

DEVELOPMENT

Question: How will we perform the development as a Classic EDI supplier?


Answer: You will perform the development in your own systems. But, to guide you in the development and to validate that you have performed the development correctly, you will receive an invitation to our CMA-campaign. In the CMA development campaign, you will upload your EDI-files and your labels. Upon completion of the campaign, our EDI-team will manually approve your development and send you through to E2E-testing

TESTING

Question: Do we have to perform two E2E-tests?


Answer: Yes, to ensure that you can use the new setup to all Scania PRUs for the site you have performed development for, you will perform an E2E-test both for one of the new locations SAS, NP2 or NL01 and one for a legacy PRU which you are also supplying to.
